Ok! Well, here goes nothing! I've been following all kinds of different blogs and standing in awe at the incredible talent of some amazing people. Of course because these blogs are incredibly thought provoking, they have inspired oodles of thoughts that I would like to be able to share with someone else. So, I am taking the plunge! WHOOSH! I find it quite comical that as of this moment no one is following me, yet I feel nervous about putting my thoughts "out there". I suspect that it will be sometime before I even tell anyone that I am doing this. I guess I am pretty safe right now. : )
I have named this blog "Palace Dweller" because that is who I have chosen to be. Even on days when I would much rather go find a cave and dwell there until the dark clouds pass, I will choose to dwell in the Palace of my Heavenly Father.
Being a Palace Dweller requires some intentional living. I have to intentionally focus on not getting caught up in the temptation to go play in the mud with the peasants who enjoy begging for just enough "toppins" to buy their bread for the day.
Being a Palace Dweller at times may seem like too much responsibility.To put things into perspective, let's look at the benefits to being a Palace Dweller. 1) I have full access 24/7 to my Daddy's throne room, 2) The walls of the Palace are the safest in all the Kingdom, 3) I lack for nothing, 4) The Keys to the Kingdom are in the Palace.
So yes, I choose to be a Palace Dweller! Will you join me? The Father is calling all of His Children back to the Palace.
